Tazberry Blue or Spiral Fetish???

I always, for whatever reason, think of these two bands together. Crazy, eh? That said, from what I've heard by each, I have to go with Spiral Fetish. Their cd is pretty good, imo. I think, however, that Strawberry is a pretty lame song, though. [img]wink.gif[/img]

Damn...hard choice here.
I'd have to say Spiral Fetish for the glam...and I'll say Tazzberry Blue for the glam-punk.
BOTH DAMMIT BOTH!!!!!!!
As for the Strawberry tune being Lame....Hell bro...I made myself a glam comp to to listen in my automible....and STRAWBERRY was the song I chose from Spiral....on that note: STRAWBERRY WHO WANTS YA BERRY NOW...NO ONE!!!!!!!!

I'll have to give a thumbs up to both bands.Having played numerous shows with both bands,I couldn't pick one.All members of both bands are some of the coolest cats you could ever hope to meet.Just seeing this topic made me smile thinking of some great road stories involving those bands.Thanks Lycan.

After posting I just realized something else.Here's a bit of useless info for ya.When the Orphan Punks were looking to replace Stacey (Original guitarist), The two people we came closest to bringing aboard were Ashley from Tazzberry Blue and Torii from Spiral Fetish (then Sikk Sexx) before Jimmie entered the picture.We even contemplated having both of them.Damn,we could have fucked up alot of good bands. lol

Easy choice for me...SPIRAL FETISH....not a big fan of the glam-punk stuff.....and Strawberry is my fav Spiral Fetish song...everyone has diffrent taste though. On the subject of Spiral Fetish, was'nt there some talk of releasing some more songs along with a few leftover SIKK SEXX songs?? I could of sworn i remember that being discussed here last year...was it Sandi who mentioned this?? anybody remember??? Easy choice, Tazzberry. Great band.

Spiral Festish had one of the worst vocalists I have ever heard. Guy sounded bored out of his skull all the time. Just terrible.

Funny though, the only SF song I thought DIDN'T suck was "Strawberry". [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

Spiral Fetish hands down. No comparison. Spiral looked cooler, played better, and most importantly wrote MUCH better songs. I do like Tazzberry, but I've also been around glam long enough to know that had the glam community not been so starved to for bubblegum glam/punk, and had Queeny Blast Pop and Heart Throb Mob still been around, no one would have paid an ounce of attention to them at all.

I do recognize however that since I was roommates with Drew from Spiral for a year, and he and I have been friends for well over ten years, that my opinion is not exactly objective. "Strawberry" is a funny thing though. Tori and I were just talking on the phone the other night, and I always bust his chops because he thinks it's the best song on the cd, and I think it's the worst by far. I just tell him though to ruffle his feathers, because that was one of his songs he brought to the band from his band before Sprial...

P.S. - Tazzberry's singer...One of the best looking glam guys ever, but his voice sucked SO bad.

Well, like Sandi, my opinion is rather biased having spent hours and hours on the phone with Drew (even as he was just forming Sikk Sexx)
